The ISABEL MARANT S/S 2016 catwalk collection was a very dark collection featuring heavy use of black and metallic materials, there were subtle touches of colour (prominently orange) throughout the outfits, mostly in embroidery. I wanted to bring this subtle use of colour out in my make up design in order to compliment Marant's subtle use of colour. I decided to include an artistic eye look, featuring supra colour paints to create a very bold feature. In true to NARS style, I kept the rest of the face very clean, simple and fresh. I achieved this by using dewy finish products such as revlon colour stay and a mix of lip colour and MAC lip mix (shine) for a naturally glossy lip.

As the make up look was featuring quite a bold and artistic aspect to the eyes, I didn't want to draw attention away from this with an over the top or high fashion hair style. I decided to opt for an on-trend naturally straight look, pinned back discreetly from the face.
