I decided to create my first NARS catwalk look for the ISABEL MARANT S/S collection as I feel the designs subtle use of colour was very similar to the NARS brand style which often uses limited amounts of colour products to create intrigue and compliment.

Above is an image of the Hair and Make up design used on the ISABEL MARANT S/S 2016 catwalk. I am quite fond of the tousled natural waves created, however I feel the natural make up look is very over-rated and lacks depth. I feel the make up designs fails to bring anything to the catwalk as a whole and doesn't make any impression on me whatsoever.

I decided to chose the S/S 2016 JOSEPH collection because I liked the simplicity of the designs and focus on tailoring. I felt the uncomplicated styling aligns itself well to the simplistic and subtle house style of the NARS brand.

The image above shows the Hair and Make up design used in the JOSEPH S/S 2016 collection catwalk. Although I appreciate the excellent application of this natural look, I feel it is far too simplistic and actually doesn't compliment the collection. I feel it lacks any impact at all, especially combined with a naturally relaxed hairstyle.
